This is an easy to read countdown book, using the numbers 1-10. The art is very cute, but isn't anything especially standout, although the unique monster designs are fun.Thank you for sharing this book. I do think it is ADORABLE. I am no longer teaching, but have done the first day of school mornings for a friend for the last two years. She had time to do all the paper work and admin. parts of teaching on a first day, and I get to keep the students engaged. Somehow, I “brewed up” a top secret monster mood vaporizer (water and vinegar, really stinky) that was sprayed from a small spray bottle. Though the monster still existed, its powers were denigrated. I was looking for M activities and was thinking of making monsters….so this is perfect. I will use it as a read aloud on the first day (tomorrow) and incorporate the activity.
