I’ve tried Peeper Perfect two ways: as an eyeshadow base and under eye concealer. As an eyeshadow base, it holds my shadows on all day long without creasing or fading. Winky Lux is a super cute, fun brand. I’ve dabbled in their products before, and one I quite enjoyed was the Peeper Perfect Concealer. For me, a concealer needs to hide my tired eyes and dark circles, not crease or settle, and make me look wide awake. And, this one fit the bill. I will say, it requires a little bit of working with (AKA setting powder) and isn’t one you can apply and leave on its own. But, it is a beautiful formula that gives beautiful results. The line has ten shades in total, which could definitely use more variety, but I know concealer can be a bit more forgiving than foundations when it comes to finding a match. I got the shade medium deep, which is about one shade lighter than my skin tone — perfect for a slight highlighting effect under the eyes. The concealer comes in a small tube applicator with a pipette tip, making it easy for precise application and even easier to store — a definite plus for me and my New York City apartment. Its lightweight, yet high coverage formula are why we think this concealer is perfect for all skin types, but especially for drier and mature skin.
