Large, soft lilac semi-double flowers with a fluted edge in May up to 40mm. This is an excellent plant with a compact neat habit. Height 50-65cm in 10 years. It does like a sheltered position. The ground should be kept moist but not waterlogged throughout the growing season and also at the end of June, which is when the all-important flower buds form.
