Drontal ® is used in cats and kittens ages 8 weeks and older and weighing more than two pounds. Drontal is indicated for the treatment of tapeworms, hookworms, and roundworms in cats. Vomiting and diarrhea are the most common signs of an overdose. Additional symptoms of drooling, lethargy, muscle tremors, and seizures are possible. Drontal ® should be stored at controlled temperatures between 68-77 F. Brief exposure to temperatures between 59-86 F are acceptable.

It is recommended that treatment should be started from 2 weeks of age and should be repeatedly performed once every 2 weeks until weaning*. Thereafter you should ensure your puppy/dog is on a regular treatment plan.The problem is that often, you can’t. Young puppies are highly susceptible to roundworms and can be infected in their mother’s womb or via their milk. Drontal Puppy Liquid Wormer targets roundworms, hookworms and whipworms in puppies from 2 weeks to 1 year of age and weighing over 0.6kg. It combines the two active ingredients pyrantel and febantel, which target and kill the worms, which are then passed out of your puppy in their faeces.

There are other illnesses that can also cause similar signs in your puppy, if you notice any of the above you should seek advice from your vet. Ingredients: Each ml of suspension contains 5.0mg pyrantel (as pyrantel embonate 14.4mg) and 15mg febantel.
