About this deal
And today I had a sneaking suspicion Brandon was going to pop the question about the Halloween dance. Nikki Maxwell is finally adjusting to life at her new school: she's made some real friends and her major crush, Brandon, has even asked to be her science partner - a seriously awesome development. I hate to say this, but I wasn't as impressed with this book as I thought I should have been, given its place in the pantheon of programming books.

Just like the first book, Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Popular Party Girl was comedic, adorable and quite relatable! I was relieved to find that this book explored different aspects of Nikki's life that we hadn't seen before rather than bringing us through situations that would make it a slightly tweaked version of the first book. I adored how everything in the book led up to the dance with Nikki being put in some pretty awkward yet hilarious situations. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Brandon staring at me with this urgent yet very perplexed look on his face. Nikki! Congratulations on winning first place, hon! If I had known the art show judges wanted talentless junk, I would have framed my poodle’s vomit stains and entered it as abstract art.urn:lcp:dorkdiariesparty0000russ:epub:b7b47d27-0f44-4607-893e-e152cdd5598d Foldoutcount 0 Identifier dorkdiariesparty0000russ Identifier-ark ark:/13960/t12p4017x Invoice 1652 Isbn 9781847387424 If I had to be one of the characters in this book it would be Brianna, Nikki's little sister. Her sister and her make squirt guns to kill the tooth fairy, because Brianna is afraid of the tooth fairy. It sounds like Brianna is a funny little squirt too! She annoys her sister sometimes, but it's funny. She is a fun character in this book. But I just said it inside my head, so no one else heard it but me. Mainly because I’m basically a nice person and I don’t like negative vibes.

I’m investing in my dream of becoming an artist so I can spend all day curled up in bed in my fave pj’s, drawing in my sketchbook, and actually get paid for it. SWEET ! I mean, how can a COLOR clash with a FLAVOR?! DUH!! They’re like two TOTALLY different, um… THINGS! With a HUGE global fanbase, Dork Diaries is the perfect series for fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Tom Gates and Jacqueline Wilson.
Welcome to Nikki Maxwell's aDORKable world in the second book in the mega-selling Dork Diaries series – now with over 45 million copies in print worldwide! Who, BTW, is the most popular girl at Westchester Country Day Middle School and a total SNOB. Calling her a mean girl is an understatement.
