John Adams | Cutie Stix Creation Set: Create your own jewellery and accessories! | Arts & crafts | Ages 6+
About this deal
The jewellery can also be stored inside the cute jewellery compact that comes complete with mirror.
There are two boxes which vary in size and allow you to cut the pieces vertically or horizontally. So you can see here, one is for the large Stix pieces, and one for the smaller ones. Have you tried the Cutie Stix Cut and Create Station? It’s perfect for children who want to let off some creative steam! My niece loved creating jewellery and tiny trinkets to give as gifts to her friends. The instructions were a bit daunting but once you get the hang of each bit, the options for creating cute stuff are endless!Today on the blog we are doing something a little different…we are making our very own, customizable jewellery! And to help me out, I have my lovely niece with me. She is seven so this sort of thing is right up her street. Making each piece of jewellery couldn't be easier! Simply snap off the beads, thread the beads and wear the beautiful creation! This is a great way to make cute accessories to give to friends.
Once the Stix are in place, you simply press down to cut and they pop out the other end. Sometimes we needed to give the unit a little shake 🙂 First, use the cutting station to slice your Stix into small pieces. There are two settings which you select for either the large Mighty Stix or the smaller Cutie ones. You use a tool (supplied) to push the Stix into the cutting machine. You DO NOT need to use tiny fingers to do this!Once you’ve cut and cored your pieces, it’s time to thread them onto the spool and create your masterpiece. This piece is pretty easy but my niece still needed some assistance getting the threading right. Line them up, thread and go!
