We just created r/atlasheadrest for people to get their Atlas fix. We can go into way more depth on that subreddit when needed without diluting the marvelous content here. One of the things I really like about the Aeron is it allows me to actually sit in a proper position – with a straight spine and elbows and knees at 90 degrees – much longer than a traditional chair. I'm a shorter guy, and I like that I can lower the chair to have my feet flat on the ground for good alignment.” We've been through countless prototypes, hours of FEA, etc. The collective team finally feels that the engineering and design are spot on. This has cost a small fortune and feels like it has taken forever on our end too. Sorry for the pace of things! We want it to be worth the wait and hope you love it.Our Classic Suspension headrests come with a Graphite frame. The color selection applies to the mesh color. Carbon is by far the most common color and accounts for approximately 80% of the Classic Aeron chair mesh.

We have a final set of pre-production prototypes slated to arrive in less than 2 weeks. Dan Ahn at Ahnestly will be shipped one of these prototypes to thoroughly evaluate on his own terms, at his studio, without a filter. These prototypes will be aesthetically and functionally where we want to land with the production headrest. Materials and finish - We will be starting with the most common colors and finishes - That means the darker fabrics, both graphite and white plastic frame finishes. Some of the rare color combinations look incredible. In the future, possibly a year after production has started, we would like to offer an expansive color range, just like we do with our other headrests (where else can you get a Tourmaline, Soapstone, etc. headrest?). The focus will be on matching current and future colors. Your 1 of 1 color combination chair from 2010 may not get a perfect match. Delivery - Sometime in 2023 seems reasonable. More regular updates on progress so you know where things standThe FAQ section on https://atlasheadrest.com regarding this was also reworded sometime this year to remove all mentions of Herman Miller: We have an incredible new product coming for existing headrest customers. We can't wait to share it with you soon.
